R’Ha, a high-concept sci-fi feature project that began as a hot Hollywood short, is getting a little help from friends with some Star Wars connections. Rick McCallum, the former head of Lucasfilm and producer of the recent Star Wars trilogy, is boarding the feature as producer, making it his first sci-fi project since leaving the George Lucas fold. Steve Tzirlin, who was a producer on Star Wars: Clone Wars and worked with McCallum at Lucasfilm, will also produce. The two now join original producers Raymond Brothers and Scott Glassgold of IAM Entertainment.

A movie project based on a dramatic six-part series of articles by Bryan Denson that were published in The Oregonian in 2011 and told the true story of a traitorous spy who enlists his son to continue his work.

The short is set in the not-too-distant future where everyone is augmenting their bodies. The story's hero can't afford to augment in the U.S., so he heads to the black market of Bangkok where he gets a hold of a mysterious chip that he discovers is slowly turning him robotic -- and is a hot commodity wanted by shadowy forces.

20th Century Fox is developing a live-action, feature adaption of IAM client’s Jesus Orellana’s short film, ROSA. IAM is producing the film with Simon Kinberg’s Genre Films. Jesus Orellana is set to make his feature, directing debut.
