Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Ricky spent his high school years at 4 different cities. He led two of the high schools to finals, and in his senior year he was a Second Team All-Conference performer. Ledo was ranked top ten nationally as a shooting guard, rated #31 overall college prospect by ESPN and named a McDonald's All-American. He committed to play for Providence College, and after one year with the Friars, he declared for the 2013 NBA Draft and was selected by the Bucks with the 43rd overall pick. He was then traded to the 76ers, and finally to the Mavericks where he signed a 4-year contract.
